Impact 51 is a collaborative networking initiative set up by Switch Digital and MasonBreese. Through a shared commitment to promoting female leadership in Jersey businesses, the two companies have joined together through their shared belief that new opportunities, fresh ideas and positive debate happens when brilliant women are connected together. The collective is designed to strengthen the impact of women in leadership across the business community.
The name reflects the purpose. The number 51 represents the fact that women make up around 51% of the population, both in Jersey and globally. Together, Impact 51 is a reminder of the difference women are making now, and the bigger impact they create when they work together.
Impact 51 has been set up primarily to recognise the success of women in leadership, whilst also working together to positively challenge barriers that do still exist. It’s about recognising the women already leading the way in Jersey and creating an opportunity for them to connect, share experiences, and learn from each other.
The events take place at key intervals throughout the year with intentionally no keynote speaker. The event is a chance to enjoy the company of other brilliant women in leadership, build new connections, share perspectives and continue to shape the direction of Impact 51.
